I personally define "classic rock" as anything between The Beatles on Ed Sullivan up to the release of Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA, give or take a few years on either side. This article tries to pin down a definition.
Musical acts are disappearing from late night television. Well, late night television is also either disappearing (Colbert, After Midnght/Taylor Tomlinson thanks to facsism), trying to be erased (Kimmel, due to facsism), or just plain terrible (thanks to Jimmy Fallon being a bootlicking turd). Seth Meyers is my favorite late night host by a mile.
All global MTV channels that still played music (which were still around I guess?) went off the air this month. MTV started its life a week before I was born, it was always around, until they dropped music and became irrelevant. This guy put together an "MTV channel" where you can watch music videos. If you were a 120 Minutes fan, here is a giant playlist of full episodes.
